Client Booking & Checkout Terms

These terms apply when you use a LYNXSTA booking or confirmation flow. LYNXSTA is operated by Melunos Limited and provides booking and workflow technology for independent beauty professionals.

1. Who We Are

2. LYNXSTA's Role

LYNXSTA provides the technology used to manage booking confirmation steps such as terms agreement, prep information, payment status, and booking confirmation.

Unless we expressly state otherwise, the actual beauty service is supplied by the independent beauty professional you are booking with, not by LYNXSTA.

3. Your Booking

A booking is only treated as confirmed once the required steps in the flow have been completed. These steps may include, depending on the professional's setup:

  • reviewing service details;
  • agreeing terms;
  • acknowledging prep information;
  • paying any required deposit or platform fee;
  • receiving confirmation.

4. Fees and Charges

The beauty professional sets the service price and any service deposit.

LYNXSTA charges a separate £1.99 platform fee per booking confirmation, where shown in the flow. This fee is separate from the professional's own service price or deposit.

5. Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refunds

The professional's own cancellation, lateness, deposit, refund and rescheduling terms apply to the underlying beauty service.

The separate LYNXSTA platform fee pays for the booking confirmation service. Once that booking confirmation service has been completed, the £1.99 platform fee is non-refundable, except:

  • where a duplicate technical charge occurred; or
  • where there was a technical / platform error; or
  • where the law requires otherwise.

If payment fails, no platform fee should complete.

If a booking never becomes confirmed, no platform fee should complete.

6. Immediate Performance

The booking confirmation service starts immediately once you complete the confirmation / payment step. By agreeing at checkout, you request immediate performance of that service and acknowledge that your cancellation rights may be affected once that service has been fully provided.

7. Your Responsibilities

You must provide accurate information during checkout and follow any prep requirements or appointment instructions provided by the beauty professional.

8. Problems with the Service

Questions or disputes about the beauty appointment itself, including service quality, appointment lateness, rescheduling, cancellations, or the professional's own policies, should be directed to the beauty professional.

Questions about the LYNXSTA platform fee or booking-confirmation technology can be directed to hello@lynxsta.com.

9. Fraud / Misuse

We may suspend, cancel or refuse a booking flow where we reasonably suspect fraud, misuse, chargeback abuse or unlawful activity.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Subject to that, LYNXSTA is not responsible for the independent beauty professional's delivery of the underlying beauty service.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, unless mandatory local law gives you additional rights.
